<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for suppressing swinging of overhead cable wherein break of an overhead cable is reduced by suppressing swinging of the overhead cable. <P>SOLUTION: A coil spring 107 is placed in the hollow portion 102 in the body 101 of the tool. Messenger wire installing portions 110 to 112, a cable installing portion 119, and an annular member 109 are formed on the outside of the body 101 of the tool. One end of a messenger wire is fixed to a trunk cable, and the other end of the wire is twisted and fixed on the messenger wire installing portions 110 to 112. Further, the annular member 109 is installed on a wall of a house. Thus, if the trunk cable is swung by a strong wind, fluctuation in the tension of the messenger wire is suppressed by cushioning force from the coil spring 107, and swinging of the trunk cable is suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
