TARGET SIGNAL EXTRACTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a high detection probability by extracting only true target signals in a target signal extraction method used by a radar signal processing or the like.

SOLUTION: By using Doppler frequency information by coherent integration, an entire signal group being obtained by one scan is treated as a target candidate signal and temporarily stored in a memory bank. A signal group such as a clatter and an interference signal which is hard to obtain correlation between each scan is separated from a true target signal capable of obtaining correlation between each scan. Not only the true signal extraction but also forecast of future moving position of a maneuvering target can be performed by setting a range bin estimated to be moved by the next scan at every scan and executing correlation processing of each scan.
