<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for lessening a current loss when adopting a cathode-ray tube as the light source of a light emitting device and adopting an inverter type lighting device in addition. <P>SOLUTION: This light emitting device is equipped with a box-shaped casing 5 wherein the cathode-ray tube 30 having electrodes 43a, 43b at its both ends in its longitudinal direction, inverter type lighting devices 17a-1, 17a-2, 17b-1, 17b-2 provided with high voltage side outputs 25a and low voltage side outputs 25b to light the cathode-ray tube 30. The lighting device is disposed at a longitudinally extended position on the one end side in the longitudinal direction of the cathode-ray tube 30 lighted by the lighting device, the high voltage side output 25a of the lighting device is connected to the electrode 43a located in the vicinity of the lighting device through an electric wire 46, and the low voltage side output 25b of the lighting device is connected to the electrode 43b located away from the lighting device through an electric wire 49. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
