PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize image recording with good gradation by recording one dot smaller when low-gradation recording is performed and recording one dot larger when high-gradation recording is performed thereby widening the width of recordable output gradation. SOLUTION: A plurality of common electrodes are arranged such that one end part of each common electrode 6 faces one end part each of a plurality of arranged discrete electrodes 5.
