PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a LAN apparatus 20 incorporating a communication controlling function. SOLUTION: A manager of the LAN apparatus 20 sets a protocol applicable to communication by each of a MAC address and an IP address of a sender terminal and an IP address of a destination terminal to the LAN apparatus.
