摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for an electrophotographic photoreceptor constituted by providing at least an undercoating layer and a photoreceptive layer in this order on a support by a spray coating method and realizing the improvement of productivity and also the prevention of a coating defect such as irregular coating by preventing the occurrence of a projection on the surface of the photoreceptor being a phenomenon inherent to the spray coating method and the clogging of a spray nozzle, a filter, and a piping being a phenomenon inherent to a coating liquid for the undercoating layer in which metallic oxide is dispersed, and to provide the coating liquid for the undercoating layer. SOLUTION: The coating liquid for the undercoating layer used in spray-coating the undercoating layer 10 incorporates at least the metallic oxide, and the falling velocity when the solid component of the coating liquid for the undercoating layer is 50 wt.% is≤50×10<SP>-4</SP>mm/ min.
