PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous biodegradable resin dispersion capable of improving physical properties of fibrous products or paper products such as waterproof property, oil resistance, airtightness, lust, thermal adhesive property, etc., without reducing the biodegradability of the fibrous products or paper products by utilizing the resin as a coating for the fibrous products or paper products, and excellent in stability with time since the biodegradable resin is hardly hydrolyzed during its preservation. SOLUTION: This aqueous biodegradable resin dispersion contains a water soluble carbodiimide added after dispersing the biodegradable resin in water, in the aqueous dispersion obtained by dispersing the biodegradable resin containing ester bond in its molecular structure.
