PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a makeup method by which a makeup exhibiting excellent effects on three-dimensionally showing a site coated with a cosmetic is done, and the makeup effects are continued well; and to provide a makeup cosmetic set. SOLUTION: The makeup method involves coating a cosmetic B on a cosmetic A after coating the cosmetic A. The cosmetic A comprises an oil-in-water type emulsion cosmetic containing 5-25 wt.% brilliant powder. The cosmetic B comprises a powder cosmetic containing 5-50 wt.% brilliant powder.
