PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for conveying a workpiece which realizes an improvement in the quality of a product and the productivity in a hot-coining, is miniaturized and stably operated. SOLUTION: A coining press 2 is disposed in a line of chain conveyor 1 intermittently sent out, and in the chain of the chain conveyor 1, bottomless cases 16, 16 are provided which are evenly spaced and moved on a plate 17, the workpiece W is dropped one each into the cases 16, 16 and the workpiece W is conveyed one by one to the coining press 2.
