A method of manufacturing a pipe (10), comprising the steps of fixedly inserting the end peripheral part of a pipe body (4) into a cavity (2) forming a metal mold for injection molding and integrally forming a connection part (13), having a connection face (12) formed in a flat shape extending outward from the end cross section of the pipe body (4), with the end peripheral part of the pipe body (4) through a resin (8) injected into the metal mold, whereby the connection of a joint to the pipe, particularly the connection of a ferrule joint to the pipe in a sanitary piping system can be easy performed at a low cost without affecting an appearance while maintaining an effective connection state even under severe conditions of high temperature and high pressure.
