PURPOSE: A rinsing method for a drum washing machine is provided to improve comfortableness and cleanness, and to reduce energy consumption by rinsing efficiently with setting the number of rinsing corresponding to concentration of remaining detergent in washing water after first rinsing. CONSTITUTION: The laundry and detergent are supplied to a washing tub, and water is fed to the washing tub(S1,S2). A user inputs washing, rinsing and dehydrating courses to perform the courses(S3). The first rinsing course is performed after finishing washing(S4), and the remaining detergent amount is detected by using hardness according to temperature of water and conductivity after finishing rinsing(S5). The concentration of remaining detergent is classified with comparing the remaining amount of detergent with reference values(S6,S7). A microcomputer performs rinsing one time if the remaining detergent is low density(S8), two times if the remaining detergent is middle density(S10), and three times if the remaining detergent is high density(S9). Dehydration course is performed after rinsing(S11). |
