<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multicolor thermosensitive recording material being excellent in color separation of a low-temperature printing part and a high-temperature printing part and in the shelf stability of an image part and particularly excellent in terms of ground blushing. <P>SOLUTION: In the material, one or more kinds of dye precursors in a thermosensitive recording layer have forms of particles each having on the surface a color development regulating layer obtained by addition polymerization of a vinyl monomer, and a developer is a reaction product of pentaerythritol and 4-hydroxy benzoate. Moreover, a developer of diphenyl sulfone is used together. According to this constitution, the multicolor thermosensitive recording material excellent in the shelf stability of the image part is obtained. By using 3, 3'-diallyl-4, 4'-dihydroxydiphenyl sulfone together, in particular, the multicolor thermosensitive recording material excellent comprehensively in the color separation, the shelf stability of the image part and the ground blushing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
