<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wireless LAN system that makes communications continue by a station STA and an access point AP2 if a communication error occurs. <P>SOLUTION: An access point AP1 is provided with an ID memory 13 that stores an ESS-ID 1 being a network ID. The access point AP2 is provided with an ID memory 13 that stores an ESS-ID 2. The stations STA1 and STA2 are provided with a detecting means for detecting a communication error between an ID memory 23 that stores the ESS-ID 1 and the ESS-ID 2 and the access point AP1, an ID switching means for making a switch from the ESS-ID 1 to the ESS-ID 2 when the communication error is detected, and a communicating means for communicating with the access point AP2 on the basis of the switched ESS-ID 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
