<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television receiver with a viewing limit function and a program viewing limit method capable of performing viewing limit by collating audio information in addition to conventional personal information wherein personal information of a viewer is not used in mistake. <P>SOLUTION: The television receiver includes: an entry means for entering a user name and a password; a personal information storage means for storing the user name, the password, and voice information; a voice reception means for receiving voice from a user; and a control means for controlling the personal information storage means and the voice reception means. The control means is configured such that the user name and the password from the entry means are collated with the user name and the password from the personal information storage means and the voice information from the personal information storage means is collated with the voice from the voice reception means and a desired program is viewed only when the collation indicates coincidence. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
