<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a circular fluorescent lamp in which breakage of an exhaust tube due to lead wire entanglement is prevented without excessive rotation of a base in the case of mounting it on an appliance. <P>SOLUTION: On the circular fluorescent lamp 1, the base 16 is mounted by covering and stepping over both end parts 4, 5 of a light emitting tube 2. At the outer peripheral face of the end part 4 of the light emitting tube 2, a groove 3 which is broken off in the direction to intersect the tube axis of the light emitting tube 2 is formed separately from a chucking groove. The base 16 is composed of a first base member 17 and a second base member 18. A pair of base members 17, 18 has a curved shape corresponding to the circular shape of the light emitting tube 2, and at the inner face of the first base member 17, a convex part 21 for preventing the excessive rotation of the base 16 mounted on the end part of the light emitting tube 2 is installed by being fitted into a groove 3 at the end part of the light emitting tube 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
