<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift locking device of an automatic transmission having a relatively simple structure while requiring no expensive components as well as an electric shift locking device to reduce overall production costs, and ensuring high reliability such that it operates normally even in the event of electric trouble such as a discharged battery. <P>SOLUTION: The shift locking device includes a lock cam 10 to which a shift lock cable 50 and a key lock cable 60 are connected; a casing 30 secured to a vehicle body while accommodating a locking means 20 which locks or allows the rotation of the lock cam 10 as it is either pressed or released by pressing, depending on whether a brake pedal 70 is on or off; and a shift lock pin 40 which fixes a shift lever 80 in a parking position or releases it by operating in conjunction with the lock cam 10 through the shift lock cable 50 as the lock cam rotates. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
