PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cabinet having a support member superior in breakdown voltage property and has a high anti-static effect, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: An insulating porous structure in which a gas phase and a solid phase mixedly exist is applied for a base material of a support member 6 that supports at a certain intervals the space formed between a first base material 1 and a second base material 3. By choosing as appropriate the solid phase material and the mixing particulates constituting the above support member 6, a vacuum cabinet having both the breakdown voltage property and the anti-static effect and with little deformation can be realized.
