PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeless discharge lamp in which the temperature of the induction coil is efficiently lowered and maintained at the critical temperature or less. SOLUTION: This is an electrodeless discharge lamp that is made of a bulb 1 filled with a discharge gas, an induction coil 4 that is installed at the recessed part 2 provided in the bulb 1, a magnetic body 3 used as a core of the induction coil, and a power source 5 that supplies power to the induction coil 4. The induction coil 4 and the power source 5 are connected through a thermal conduction member 8. The thermal conduction member 8 is made by combining a flat plate and a curved plate made of the same material as the element wire of the induction coil 4 or a material containing the same material as the element wire of the induction coil 4, or by forming the end part of the element wire forming the induction coil 4 in a flat shape, or by adhering the end part of the element wire forming the induction coil 4 formed planar on a planar or a curved plate made of the same material as the induction coil 4 or a material containing the same material as the element wire of the induction coil.
