PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency, stability, and accuracy of the connection of a lens and a ferrule by connecting an optical fiber to an optical device main body by using a detachable plug. SOLUTION: A plug 8 is freely attachably and detachably attached to the attaching part 3 of a collimator block 2. At the plug 8, the optical fiber 6 for which a ferrule 5 is attached to a tip is energized by a spring 17 and held inside a housing 16. One end of a coil spring 9 is fixed inside the cylindrical attaching part 3 and a collimator lens 7 is held at the other end. On the outer side of the effective diameter of the collimator lens 7, the coil spring 9 holds it. The plug 8 is attached to the attaching part 3, a male screw part 3a and a female screw part 16a are screwed and the coil spring 9 and the spring 17 are fixed in a compressed state. The collimator lens 7 is energized by the coil spring 9 and the collimator lens 7 and the ferrule 5 are brought into strong press contact with each other. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
