PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device capable of preventing a cleaning web from being unwillingly consumed while surely preventing the sagging and feeding of the cleaning web without causing the up-sizing of a motor and the increase of power consumption. SOLUTION: A member to be cleaned is constituted so that the cleaning web can be fed in the rotating direction of the member to be cleaned by a rotary pressure member for bringing the cleaning web into press contact with the member to be cleaned, and also, a feed roll for feeding the cleaning web is arranged on the upstream side in a feeding direction, and also, a take-up roll for winding the cleaning web is arranged on the downstream side in the feeding direction, and a control member for controlling the feeding of the cleaning web is arranged on the feed roll.
