PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing device capable of determining identity of a component of each peak of a plurality of samples without using a peak retention time or its allowable width. SOLUTION: Each representative of spectrums in chromatogram peaks of the plurality of samples is compared together, and it is determined that each chromatogram peak corresponding to spectrums having the highest similarity among those having the similarity higher than a prescribed similarity threshold is a peak by the same component. Otherwise, the peak component may be identified by comparing the spectrum of a known component registered beforehand in a reference with the representative spectrum of the peak.
