PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable coping with characteristics evaluation test of various kinds of vehicles containing multiple-actuation vehicle like a four-wheel drive vehicle, without causing increase of monopoly spacing and provision cost. SOLUTION: A loading roller 3, a flywheel system 4 and a loading system 5 are coaxially arranged and mounted on a base 2, thereby constituting a loading unit 1 in compact. The plurality of loading units 1 are arranged side-by-side in a direction almost perpendicular to the arrangement direction of the loading roller 3, the flywheel system 4 and the loading system 5. A driven wheel of a vehicle to be tested is brought into contact with the loading roller 3 of each of the loading unit 1. Inertia is applied to each driven wheel by the flywheel system 4 mounted on each loading unit 1. Similarly rotating loading is applied by the loading system 5 , thereby executing the characteristics evaluation test. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
