PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press die capable of manufacturing pressed components need to undergo a plurality of working steps before obtaining necessary product shapes at a low cost with high accuracy. SOLUTION: A cope 2 is provided with a moving section 7. A drag 3 is provided with a moving section 17. The moving sections 7 and 17 are respectively supported by hydraulic cylinders 8 and 16 disposed at die tables 4 and 11. Also, the release pressures of the pressure relief valves by each of the respective hydraulic cylinders disposed in oil pressure supply systems to the respective hydraulic cylinders 8 and 16 are set successively from lower values to higher values according to the sequences of operations required for respective moving portions in die clamping within the range smaller than the pressurizing force of a ram of the press machine mounted with the press die 1. There is no need for providing the side of the press machine with driving means for the moving sections 7 and 17 and the press die 1 can be used as it is by attaching the die 1 to the existing press machine. Also, the oil pressures is released from the hydraulic cylinder associated with the pressure relief valve set with the lower release pressure according to the progression of die clamping of the press die 1, by which the successive actuation of the respective moving sections 7 and 17 is made possible.
