PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow fiber type separation membrane which is related to a support membrane of an asymmetric membrane or a composite membrane, in other words as pore size-based classification, a gas separating membrane, a reverse osmosis membrane, an ultrafiltration membrane, a micro-filtration membrane, or the like, and has excellent and stable selective permeation performance. SOLUTION: This hollow fiber type separation membrane is manufactured by a dry and wet film forming method for using a macromolecular polymer-containing solution as a film forming stock solution, extruding the macromolecular polymer-containing solution through a spinnerlet, making the extruded solution pass through an aerially travelling part, and then solidifying the extruded solution in a solidification bath. The film forming solution travelling in the aerially travelling part is covered with a member having a heat insulating structure. The formed hollow fiber membrane is treated by immersing in the water of≥85°C. As a result, the hollow fiber membrane having stable performance can be obtained easily at a low cost.
