PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an application method by which the accuracy in block assembly of a die coater is improved, further, the improvement of operability, the reduction of operation man-hour, and the reduction of regrinding man-hour are realized, the application stability is improved by the use of the die coater with excellent accuracy, and the film thickness distribution in the application width direction is improved. SOLUTION: In the assembling method for die coater, the die coater for simultaneous multilayer coating is provided with at least two pairs of pockets and slits. The pocket broadens coating liquid in the coating width direction and the slit discharges the coating liquid from the pocket to an object to be coated. Therein, the die coater is assembled on a stand the upper surface of which has the flatness of 0.1-10μm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
