PURPOSE: A bedplate for paperhanging is provided to improve users' convenience and work efficiency especially when the users hang papers on the upper walls or ceilings, simply by operating the bedplate while standing on the bedplate. CONSTITUTION: The bedplate(10) for paperhanging includes four legs(20,20a) whose ends are attached to wheels(30); a chain gear(33) installed at the axis of the wheel of one of the legs(20,20a); a left plate(11) with a longitudinal rail groove(21); a carrying plate(40) combined with the rail groove(21) and having rails on both sides and a sill(43) for easing the movement of the carrying plate(40); a pull spring(60) for pulling the carrying plate(40) back to the original position; a pinion(48) geared with a rack and being mounted at two brackets on the opposite side of the bottom surface of the left plate(11); and another chain gear(49) for transferring a driving force of the pinion(48) to the wheels(30).
