<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile wireless phone capable of reducing the performance of wasteful synchronization operations even when a state of out-zone is consecutive. <P>SOLUTION: In a first stage, a wireless control section 14 makes dense and short time searching operations of a base station at a prescribed interval. When the searching is not finished in the first stage, the wireless control section 14 gradually extends the search processing interval at a prescribed pitch in a second stage to change the dense searching toward coarse searching. When the searching is not finished yet even in the second stage, the wireless control section 14 performs the coarse searching at a prescribed interval until the base station is found out in a third stage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
