<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sell units of a power-assisted bicycle capable of flexibly corresponding to an intended purpose and taste or the like of a user. <P>SOLUTION: A server computer 1-1 for providing the power-assisted bicycle includes a control part 1-2 for controlling/managing the whole computer, a hard disk 1-3 storing various pieces of information for providing a power-assisted bicycle, and a modem 1-4 providing a connection to each terminal via a telecommunication network. Bicycle information, power assist information, user information, physical strength/health information, various control programs for downloading, supplier information, assembly station information or the like are stored in the hard disk 1-3. The server computer 1-1 generates design information for attaching a power assist component 1-21 to a normal bicycle body 1-12 having a traveling function by leg power in response to an order of the user via the telecommunication network 1-11, instructs a supplier, and provides a my power-assisted bicycle 1-23 to the user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
