<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve even a fault occurring unexpectedly in real time without inquiring of a help desk or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A fault monitoring system 20 monitors faults of monitored systems 10_<SB>1</SB>to 10_<SB>3</SB>, collects fault data, accumulates the collected data in a fault history database (DB) 44, and accumulates data of content corresponding to the fault in a DB for history of treating faults 45. When the fault occurs, even if the fault is unexpected, an appropriate solution can be provided to a user on application on the basis of the fault history sequentially stored and response actual results by obtaining possible solutions or the like to the occurred fault by retrieving each of the DBs 44 and 45 on the basis of the obtained fault data when fault occurrence, and displaying it on application screens of clients 11_<SB>1</SB>to 11_<SB>3</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
