<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making a printing plate for easily removing residue when a relief image is formed by direct laser engraving and for reducing tackiness of the surface of a printing plate. <P>SOLUTION: The method for making a printing plate comprises a step for preparing a sheetlike or cylindrical printing plate precursor by photocrosslinking a photosensitive resin composition, a step for making a printing plate by irradiating the printing plate precursor with laser light to form the objective pattern and a step for washing the surface of the printing plate by blowing steam or high temperature and high pressure water at 0.5-20 MPa and 50-140°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
