<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent photosensitive planographic printing plate material which ensures little sludge in development, good printing resistance, good suitability to coating with an oxygen intercepting layer, high sensitivity, and few image defects (coating defects), and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the photosensitive planographic printing plate material having on a support a photopolymerizable layer comprising an alkali-soluble polymer, a compound having an ethylenically unsaturated bond, and a photopolymerization initiator, and an oxygen intercepting layer comprising an oxygen intercepting resin and an acetylene compound, 50-100 mass% of the oxygen intercepting resin is polyvinyl alcohol having a polymerization degree of 100-1,000. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
