PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a whole-body counter for controlling internal exposure to perform screening measurement and precision measurement and to shorten measuring time. SOLUTION: A chair 13 is provided in a measuring room 12. Measurement is performed with a person to be measured 15 sitting on the chair 14. A first detecting unit 16 and a second detecting unit 18 are provided on the back side of the chair, in other words, arranged in the proximity of the person to be measured 15. The first detecting unit 16 has a vertically wide detecting field of view and is used for the screening measurement. The second detecting unit 18 is capable of highly sensitive measurement and is used for the precision measurement.
