PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulation device for reducing a processing load and the consumption of a memory size in a conversion process. SOLUTION: This emulation device is provided with a second sort instruction sequence holding part for holding an instruction sequence configuring a program prepared based on a second sort instruction set different from the instruction set of a microprocessor, a second sort instruction converting part for defining the instruction sequence whose one block is until a branch instruction in the second sort instruction set in the instruction sequences held in the second sort instruction sequence holding part as an instruction sequence to be converted, and for converting the instruction sequence to be converted into the instruction sequence configured based on the instruction set of the microprocessor, a first sort instruction holding part for holding the instruction sequence converted by the second sort instruction converting part, and a first sort instruction executing part for making the microprocessor execute the instruction sequence held by the first sort instruction holding part after the instruction sequence to be converted is converted by the second sort instruction converting part.
