PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display screen having the capability of displaying in multi-colors with improved quality when four or more kinds of dots are used. SOLUTION: This display screen comprises a dot assembly in which at least four kinds of dots are prepared each having the capability of displaying two specific colors and also displaying reversibly only one of these two colors, and in which collection of at least one each from these four kinds of dots is defined as one unit, with such unit repeatedly arrayed. The display screen is characterized by the array in which at least three kinds of dots exist on every straight line connecting a certain dot and its adjacent dot. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
