PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having high sensitivity, low residual potential and small photomemory and excellent in properties in repetition, image stability and environmental stability and to provide a processing cartridge with the electrophotographic photoreceptor and an electrophotographic apparatus. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic photoreceptor having a photosensitive layer containing a charge generating material and a charge transport material on a support, the photosensitive layer contains a thermoplastic resin having a specified structure group and a weight average molecular weight (Mw) of 5,000-9,000.
