PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-scaled particle incinerator capable of generating the gas having the heat to be used for power generation from fowl droppings containing a lot of incombustible components with a low calorific value with a simple structure at a low cost. SOLUTION: The gas passing through a grid body from a lower part to an upper part thereof passes a layer of the particles moving in the top surface of the grid body to incinerate the particles. Inclination of the top surfaces of a pair of grid bodies 10 and 20 is periodically changed so that the layer of the particles is intermittently floated and slid from a higher side to a lower side by the gas passing through the layer of the particles at the maximum point of the inclination or near there at a height smaller than size of the particles and at a small degree enough to float. Desirably, the grid bodies 10 and 20 are mainly formed of water tube groups 11 and 21 provided in parallel with the sliding direction of the particles layer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
