PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve hydrogen gas shielding property by storing liquid in a first chamber of a cylinder and to improve returnability of a piston by connecting an inert gas accumulator to a second chamber. SOLUTION: This hydrogen gas driven cylinder device is constituted to improve hydrogen gas shielding property by storing the liquid 33 in the first chamber 9 of the cylinder 1 and to enhance the return side motion of the piston 5 to improve returnability by connecting a tank 51 of the inert gas 37 to a second chamber 10 to constitute the accumulator.
