PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the center of an umbrella locate at the central part of the body. SOLUTION: The shaft of this umbrella is formed in a double structure, and the shaft is made stretchable by a sliding method. Thus, a rotating part of the shaft is protected by the shaft on the external side at the time of a normal use, and the shaft is prevented from bending from the rotating part. At the same time, at the time of use with the shaft bent from the rotating part into a crank-like state, a distance from a notch to the lowermost end part is made the same as the time of a normal use.
