At least one organic transition metal compound (A) is contacted with a mixture of at least two different organometallic compounds (B). The resulting mixture is further contacted with a cation-forming compound (C), to obtain a catalyst. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) use of catalyst for polymerization of olefins; (2) catalyst; and (3) polymerization of olefin using catalyst.
