PURPOSE: An ink for thermal inkjet recording, an inkjet recording method using the ink, an inkjet recording head, its preparation method and its treatment method and an inkjet printer containing the head are provided, to maintain the quality of ejection of an ink from a head to be constant for a long time by inhibiting kogation. CONSTITUTION: The ink comprises 0.01-10 wt% of an organic phosphonic acid compound represented by the formula 1; a dye; and water. The inkjet recording head comprises an ink room receiving an ink; a heating element surface-treated with the organic phosphonic acid compound of the formula 1; and a nozzle. The ink is ejected from a nozzle by the heat of the heating element. The head is prepared by introducing a surface treatment solution containing the organic phosphonic acid compound of the formula 1 into the ink room to allow the heating element to be contact with the solution; and heating the heating element to treat its surface with the organic phosphonic acid compound.
