<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide artificial soil constituted of a porous material, having excellent water retainability, and lightweight, hardly collapsed, hardly causing cloggging of pores, usable for a long period, capable of fixing a tree firmly, and also suitable for pot culture. <P>SOLUTION: The artificial soil is obtained by packing a container having ≥30 cm depth with many soil bodies obtained by packing a metallic or plastic container having many through holes with natural porous material having open cells and ≥20% porosity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
