<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct (1) variation in operation mode at the start of a vehicle depending on whether the internal combustion engine is rotated or stopped when the vehicle is stopped, and (2) variation in operation mode at deceleration/stopping depending on whether the internal combustion engine is rotated or stopped when the vehicle is decelerated, related to a hybrid car in which a unidirectional rotation transmission means is provided between the internal combustion engine and a motorized generator. <P>SOLUTION: When a vehicle is started from a stopped state, controlling is so unified as to start in an electric travel mode after the rotation of the internal combustion engine is stopped, even if it is rotated for charging a power storage device when start operation of the vehicle is performed. When the vehicle is decelerated to a prescribed velocity, rotation of the internal combustion engine is controlled to be stopped except when a transmission is in a neutral position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
