<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ticket gate system capable of providing full services to users by, e.g., making automatic ticket gates for installation in unmanned stations as convenient as normal ones installed in manned stations. <P>SOLUTION: An automatic ticket gate is provided with a camera, a microphone, a speaker, a variable display part, and a call switch. A supervisory device is also provided with a microphone, a speaker and a variable display device so that in cases where the automatic ticket gate has failed or a user has made an operating error, the supervisory device directs processes using the automatic ticket gate while observing the user's behavior. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
