PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet communication equipment and a packet communication system, capable of surely transmitting a communication packet to a destination terminal, while reducing the load of a network and effectively utilizing a communication band. SOLUTION: A personal computer 10 sequentially transmits packets, providing the sequence numbers (A)-(C). A personal computer 11 detects a loss of the packet and requests retransmission of the packet of the sequence number (B), when it receives the packet of the sequence number (C). The personal computer 10 divides the requested packet and transmits packets of the sequence numbers (B1)and (B2). The personal computer 11 detects the loss and requests the retransmission of the packet of the sequence number (B1), when it receives the packet of the sequence number (B2).
