PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic print system wherein a single DPE service shop can prepare a photo print from an image regardless to whether the image is an analog image recorded on a photo film or a digital image recorded with a digital still camera. SOLUTION: A film scanner 3 converts each frame of a photo film 82 subjected to development processing by using a negative color film automatic development machine 2 into digital image data and a flat bed scanner 4 converts a photo whose printing is finished also into digital image data to allow a print control unit 6 to selectively capture the data. Further, the digital image data recorded on a memory card 85 of a digital still camera 84 can be captured by using a card reader 5 or through a USB cable 86. After applying correction processing to the captured digital image data, a sublimation type thermal transfer printer 7 prints out the resulting image data by a prescribed number of prints to obtain photo prints 9.
