PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Internet facsimile machine for facilitating the management of picture data attached to e-mail stored (archived) in a terminal device for an archive. SOLUTION: This Internet facsimile machine 1 archives picture data 27 by transmitting the transmitted and received picture data 27 to a predetermined destination by e-mail 23. The Internet facsimile machine 1 extracts information about the picture data 27 from a communication management record 20 and describes the extracted information in a subject field in a mail header of the e-mail 23 in a prescribed sequence.
