PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control device which positively suppresses the propagation of vibration generated by a vibrating body, into a cabin. SOLUTION: An engine mount 3 is provided with: a connecting fitting 11 mounted to an engine; a holder 12 mounted to the vehicle body side; an insulator 13 provided between the connecting fitting 11 and the holder 12 to absorb mainly the vibration propagated from the engine 1; and a vibration control mechanism part 14 provided continuously with the insulator 13. The vibration control mechanism part 14 is provided with a main liquid chamber 15, an orifice 16, an auxiliary liquid chamber 17, a balancing chamber 19, an air chamber 21, and the like. Negative pressure and atmospheric pressure are alternately led into the balancing chamber 19 by the on/off changeover of a VSV 31. A side branch 51 is provided on the way of a communicating passage 23 communicating the balancing chamber 19 with the VSV 31. Pressure waveform in the balancing chamber 19 is thereby shaped by the resonance effect of pulsation to become smooth. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
