PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory device and system with the function to automatically fix software errors and a method for automatically fixing software errors making it possible to automatically fix software errors within the memory device and to automatically fix errors by accessing an external server if necessary. SOLUTION: In a system with a CPU and a memory device serving as a storage part, the memory device has a set of three memories capable of saving data and reading/writing data, and an error detection control circuit for executing the reading/writing of data from and to the memories under control of the CPU and for detecting and fixing troubles such as software errors occurring within the memories.
