PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing vulcanized fibers using recycled pulp. SOLUTION: This method for producing the vulcanized fibers comprises making paper from a mixture of recycled pulp with rag pulp, laminating the sheets of the made paper to produce the raw paper, immersing the raw paper in a zinc chloride solution at 30 to 42°C, and then ageing, water-washing and drying the raw paper by conventional methods.
