PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover (14) for an airbag module (10) which includes a housing(12) and an inflatable cushion (36) and becomes available for a vehicle having an instrumental panel (16) with an airbag module opening(18) and has an outside surface(20) to be fitted with an inside surface and the instrumental panel. SOLUTION: This cover consists of the first material (22) which hangs down in a receding direction from the inner surface of the cover and is fixed movably to the airbag module so as to move relatively to the airbag surface, and is fixed to the module while the inflatable cushion is open, and a couple of the second material (30) which hangs down in the receding direction from the inner surface of of the cover and has each opening (32) to receive a guide material (34) which hangs down in a receiving direction from the housing, and the cover of the airbag module can be opened in the first direction until the first material reaches the largest movable point depending on the configurations of the openings of the first material and a couple of the second material, and the cover keeps on opening in the second direction which is decided by the farther movement of the guide material inside the opening part.
